Thanks Zack – I am kind of a weenie for a car that looks good as well as runs well. All this work is really so I can paint the interior and engine bay a light color which makes finding fluids and other issues a whole lot easier. Tonight I’m going to lay on the liquid stripper in the cockpit and then I think I can air blast and then pressure wash the whole thing. Watch out Campbell, here comes your local neighborhood illegal chop shop!

I concur with your approach of putting the bolts back in their holes. I took a CJ7 down to the frame years ago and took the approach of bagging/labeling everything. Most of those never found their way back to their homes!
